高校生の頃のことだったか、
オフコースのI Love You という曲の
間奏でJohn Lenon の死亡を伝えるニュース（多分、再現）が流れます。
確か同タイトルのアルバム収録曲限定です。
僕は熱烈なビートルズ・ファンでもなく、John のファンでも
なかったのですが、これが何故か強烈に胸に刺さったんですね。
それを当時の現代文の詩を書く課題で書いた事を覚えてます。
現代文の先生に、放課後に職員室に呼ばれたものでｗ
あぁ、I Love You というアルバムをチェックすると
切ない過去がよみがえる（笑）
そして、
Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon
このアルバム、無くしたと思って３枚くらい買った記憶があります。
そして、その３枚は今どこにあるのやら。。
